Britney Spears - Why don’t I ever hear about the causes that make celebrities act this way? All I hear is the pressures of … but to be honest I don’t understand it. Not being famous, it’s difficult to comprehend the pressure that many have to go through. Dave Chapelle, Maria Carey, and Britney have all had “episodes”.

Some people naively think that because they have money they have no problems. Pressure to be the best? Pressure to stay on top? Pressure to rise to the top? I would imagine that most celebrities went into their career field for the love of the “job”, the love to sing, the love to act, the love to perform.

Everyone at some point in their lives does something they regret (usually involving alcohol), but it isn’t usually plastered all over the news.

Britney is a role-model to many, but what I didn’t see is a lot of people shaving their head, because she did or to support her. I choose my role models, they don’t choose me. The same can be said for “impressionable teens”, let them decide who they want to emulate. There are far more fascinating and interesting people that have graced us with their presence in the past. And those people are most likely the role models of our celebrity role models.
